7.7 "It's a Board Decision"
With major capital expenditure, this is often the case, so
(a) Find out when the Board Meeting is.
(b) Find out who will be present.
(c) If possible, try and get invited to present your case.
(d) Ensure that each Board Member has a copy of your "Selling Proposal".
Remember, at least some of the Board Members will be non - technical. Always ensure that the "Selling Proposal" is, as discussed earlier, expressed in terms of BENEFITS, and not technical terms.
